Financial Analyst

In this role, you will work with a public sector client that has significant social impact.

You will translate financial and operational management guidelines and procedures into daily practice.

Responsibilities will include:

• Analysing business processes, budgeting, and identifying improvements within daily financial management and contract execution
• Performing detailed cost analysis to identify trends and risks
• Preparing financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• Improving and optimising financial processes, internal controls, and reporting
• Assisting the client with invoice processing
• Supporting periodic internal and external audit requests

About you

• A critical thinker with strong advisory and service skills
• Excellent analytical abilities
• Outstanding communication skills, fluent in both English and Dutch
• Persuasive and able to influence others
• Proficient in Excel, and preferably knowledgeable in S4H
• Willing to work outside regular office hours during month-end closing periods

Education:

• Higher professional or university-level education (HBO/WO)
• Preferably a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a comparable field
