We're working with a top-tier financial advisory team in Manchester to recruit a Financial Advisory Restructuring Manager. This group handles complex, high-stakes assignments for corporates, lenders, and investors across underperforming and distressed situations. Recent work includes high-profile administrations, refinancings, and rescue transactions-often with regional or national significance.

The Financial Advisory Restructuring Manager Role

As a Manager, you'll:

• Lead workstreams on restructuring plans, cash flow analysis, and refinancings
• Advise boards, management teams, and financial stakeholders on turnaround options
• Oversee insolvency appointments and liaise with legal teams on documentation
• Mentor junior staff while working closely with senior practitioners
• Contribute to business development and practice growth

Who We're Looking For

• Background: 5+ years in restructuring, insolvency, or debt advisory (Big 4, banking, or specialist advisory firm preferred)
• Skills:
• Strong financial analysis (business plans, short-term cash flows, restructuring options)
• Understanding of debt markets and insolvency processes
• Ability to manage stakeholders under pressure
• Project leadership experience
• Mindset: Commercial, pragmatic, and comfortable with ambiguity
