Financial Accounting Manager - FTC

My client, a global leader in software development, is looking to hire a Financial Accounting Manager for a 18 month fixed term contract.

This is a broad, hands on role with real exposure across audit, reporting, and revenue recognition. You'll take ownership of the FRS102 group audit, support international entities, and work closely with senior finance leadership on key 2026 initiatives.

It will suit a qualified accountant with a background in audit with 4-6 years PQE, strong technical grounding in FRS102, and experience in a global or multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the annual group audit process under FRS102, acting as the main point of contact for external auditors
• Support and oversee regional statutory audits across multiple jurisdictions
• Contribute to monthly management reporting and review key financial data including AP and payroll inputs
• Establish and maintain robust revenue recognition processes and documentation
• Support corporate and tax-related initiatives, including transfer pricing activities
• Partner with senior finance stakeholders on process, systems, and project based work

Key Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) with 4-6 years PQE
• Strong technical knowledge of FRS102, with IFRS exposure beneficial
• Experience working in a multi-entity or international environment
• Solid understanding of revenue recognition and commercial contracts
• Comfortable using ERP systems, experience with Certinia advantageous
• Advanced Excel skills, with exposure to data visualisation tools a plus
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Confident communicator, comfortable working cross functionally and with external advisors
• Proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
