Financial Accountant (Contable financiero)

We're looking for a Financial accountant to join our dynamic team in Barcelona. This role is pivotal in synthesizing operational information, generating actionable insights that drive key strategic decisions and seamless reporting to our multinational group.

As a Financial Accountant at NOBA, you will:

• Register and control financial transactions (sales, purchases, payments, collections), performing bank reconciliations and processing entries to maintain data integrity, leveraging tools to automate processes and ensure accurate accounting.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, including tracking client payment flows.
• Collaborate with external providers to ensure tax filing and payroll management.
• Conduct cash flow review and other financial reports.
• Support the operations department analyzing project profitability and associated costs.
• Act as a strategic controller, building and refining financial models to support the annual budget planning and review, rolling profitability forecasts.
• Prepare and deliver quarterly financial business presentations.
• Maintain accurate and traceable finance records, contributing to the local chart of accounts, and serve as the key contact point for elaborating and reporting financial information to the Gellify group, ensuring compliance with group policies.

What we look for:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; demonstrated experience with financial modeling
• Strong attention to detail, coupled with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• +3 years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing or finance consulting.
• Experience in Spanish tax regulations and accounting policies.
• Fluent in Spanish and/or Catalan.
• Advanced level of English.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
