Financial Accountant

About the Company- This rapidly growing and expanding Tech Co are currently recruiting a Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This is a newly created role where you will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager

Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Support the monthly close process, including reconciliations of general ledger, balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow statements. Conduct variance analysis for monthly management accounts. Monitor cash flow and working capital, ensuring effective use of financial resources. Collaborate with auditors to facilitate the year-end audit process and ensure compliance with FRS102 and other financial reporting standards. Assist in preparing and filing statutory accounts and tax returns in line with Irish and UK regulations. Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

Qualifications- ACA or ACCA qualification with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience.

Required Skills

• Proven expertise in management accounting, financial planning & analysis, and technical accounting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with financial systems (e.g., Netsuite preferred).
• Familiarity with FRS102 and local financial regulations; experience with tax compliance and VAT.
• Experience in the tech or start-up sectors, ERP migration projects, and financial modelling desirable.

Salary: €65k - €70k plus excellent benefits package including pension, healthcare etc. This is a permanent and fully remote based role with flexitime.
