Finance Systems Manager

Cedar are recruiting a Finance Systems Manager for a global renewable energy business based in Central London. It is a permanent position reporting into the Finance Director.

This is a business-critical role and requires someone with a strong Finance and IT background.

The duties/responsibilities of the role are: -

• Be the main point of contact for the implementation infrastructure strategy and be the conduit between finance and IT.
• You will work closely with finance, IT, and other stakeholders with a view to enhance business processes via technology and data.
• Further system development and implementation in accordance with business/industry standards.
• Provide an overview of testing, reliability and in-depth analysis of IT functionality.
• Monitor system performance and identify/resolve any issues to improve efficiency.
• Develop and implement data management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of financial data within IT systems
• Identify potential risks within IT system and implement appropriate actions for safeguarding.
• Create training materials/seminars etc to promote inter company development and determine best practice with Finance IT tools.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced finance systems professional who has a proven track record in a similar function. A key requirement for this role is a deep understanding of Finance, IT, infrastructure, Data and security.

The successful candidate will have experience in finance software such as SAP, Oracle Financials, Sage X3 or OneStream as well as experience with Power BI or equivalent.
