Finance Operations Specialist (Accounts Payable)

Role: Finance Operations Specialist (Accounts Payable)Type: Full-time, 12 month FTC
Location: Office in North Swindon, with hybrid working (1 day in office per week)
Salary: £30,000, potentially up to £35,000 for an experienced candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Support Accounts Payable (AP) processing across multiple regions

Ensure accurate invoice coding, VAT compliance, and timely vendor payments

Review employee expenses and payment runs

Collaborate with Shared Services Centre (SSC) and vendors

Assist with vendor master data and bank detail verification

Perform supplier reconciliations and compliance reporting

Support year-end audits and intercompany netting

Prepare journal entries using SAP

Provide ad hoc support across finance and operations teams

Ideal Candidate Profile

Background in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

Experience in Accounts Payable, banking, and reconciliations

Strong communication, analytical, and collaborative skills.

Experience with SSC and General Ledger (GL) is advantageous but not essential.
