Finance Operational Manager / Finance Team Lead

We are looking for a hands-on financial professional who is deeply passionate about finance and eager to make an impact and grow with us. In this pivotal role, you'll be at the heart of our compact finance function, directly influencing how we operate and expand.

You'll work closely with CEO, bringing your in-depth experience with the Dutch taxation system and comprehensive financial reporting to the forefront.

This position demands both strategic financial thinking and a commitment to continuous improvement in day-to-day operations. You'll have a direct, hands-on impact on optimizing our financial processes, ensuring reliability, and helping to drive the entire company forward.

• Managing day to day financial flows and operations to ensure the company's financial stability and accuracy
• Automate key operations to ensure our processes are quick, smooth, and free of mistakes
• Structuring and optimizing financial processes, including external transactions and internal workflows
• Overseeing financial reporting and analysis, providing insights for business decisions
• Ensuring compliance with Dutch tax, payroll and immigration-related financial regulations
• Expand financial expertise in Dutch payroll and immigration legislation to align financial planning with business needs
• Proactively keeping up to date about the latest changes in Dutch GAAP, payroll and tax legislation
• Managing a finance team of two internal specialists, with external consultants engaged when necessary
• Improving interaction between finance and other teams, making processes smoother and more efficient
  

• Bring a structured, thoughtful approach to finance, keeping things clear and simple
• Improve processes as you go, especially in environments where things are still taking shape
• Hands-on experience with Dutch GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), payroll & (inter-)national finance
• Build or deepen your understanding of Dutch financial and payroll regulations
• You move things forward without waiting for instruction and make sound decisions
• You know how to explain things in a way others understand and believe good work happens through teamwork

• Fluent in English; Dutch - B2; Russian - working proficiency
