About the Role & Team
This is a Fixed Term Contract from June to November 2025 and is an office-based role (3 days working in the Holborn, London office, 1 day working in the Hammersmith, London office and 1 day working from home)
The Stage Plays team are responsible for our owned and second-class productions throughout EMEA. This encompasses The Lion King London in its 25th year - along with the upcoming production of Hercules London opening in London in June, The Greatest Showman coming to Bristol in early 2026 as well as Disney Tickets, Disney on Ice and Feld Entertainments licensed content.
The role is responsible for assisting in delivering an effective, timely and accurate Forecast and Year End process across EMEA, as well as weekly and monthly theatre finance activities.
It requires effective collaboration with financial and non-financial business partners, working with key budget holders as needed and proactive identification of opportunities for business improvement.
What You Will Do
Delivery of Tasks:
Supporting the Senior Manager with the weekly show payroll process
Manage the end-to-end processes within the financial planning cycle (e.g. forecasting, reporting, close etc.) to ensure the effective financial management of the business area with the assistance of team
Management of the weekly Theatre Settlements Process for the Lion King and Hercules London with the support of the intern, whilst creating process improvements
Supporting the running London show's Production Budgets and corresponding cost tracking
Support the Senior Finance Manager with weekly production payroll processing and reporting where necessary
Reviewing and tracking Purchase Orders and corporate travel costs
Deep dive into financial terms and other costs lines such as Fixed Fees and Royalties
Review existing processes and actively challenge the status quo, providing proposals for process/systems improvement that will positively impact business effectiveness assisting the Senior Manager of Stage Plays Finance in identifying the best approaches to ensure the processes are best in class.
Manage any projects beyond the immediate scope of the role to deliver improved business processes or systems with a business area
Business P artnering:
Develop and deliver financial presentations for key business stakeholders to inform thinking about future business management
Build relationships with key business stakeholders to provide guidance and influence their thinking around future business direction
Required Qualifications & Skills
Accounting qualification is essential
Experience of supporting commercial management to a high standard and working with the Regional Finance and Commercial head office.
Experience of team management is desirable.
Proficient in spreadsheets, MS Office and financial software applications
Ability to produce clear and insightful analysis hat deliver key messaging at the appropriate level of detail.
Numerate and analytical with a desire to think through and resolve problems.
Demonstrable track record of providing commercial support to a business partner that's insightful, timely and responsive.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, flexible to all levels of the organisation.
Proven track record of influence, persuasion and engaging communication at all levels of the organisation
Experience of managing multiple stakeholders
Ability to work effectively through their team motivating them through the natural peaks of work
