Your new role
As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, leading a small team and partnering with operational stakeholders across the business. This is a hands-on role that combines financial control, business partnering and commercial analysis within a manufacturing setting.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the month-end and year-end close process
• Producing accurate management accounts and financial reports
• Leading budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management activities
• Monitoring manufacturing costs, margins and inventory performance
• Providing commercial insight and analysis to support business decisions
• Developing and improving financial controls, processes and reporting
• Managing and mentoring finance team members
• Supporting external audits and statutory reporting requirements
• Partnering with operational and production teams to drive efficiency and profitability

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Have previous experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant role
• Possess strong manufacturing, engineering or FMCG sector experience
• Demonstrate an excellent understanding of cost accounting, stock and inventory management
• Be confident in producing management accounts and presenting financial information to stakeholders
• Have strong commercial acumen and business partnering skills
