Interim Finance Manager
Predominantly Remote Full-Time Approx. 6-Month Contract

Robert Half is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Interim Finance Manager to join a small but highly capable finance team on an initial 6-month contract.

This is a key role with responsibility for monthly financial reporting and the day-to-day management of finance activity for the business unit. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Director and collaborate across Operations, Support, Sales, and wider group finance teams in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the Finance Director with financial reporting
• Own monthly financial reporting
• Manage VAT and other tax compliance for UK and Irish entities
• Act as main contact for the external audit
• Coordinate information for annual R&D claims
• Oversee and sign off monthly payroll
• Identify and implement process improvements

About you:

• Qualified accountant or qualified by experience
• Strong financial reporting and technical accounting awareness
• Able to work both hands-on and strategically
• Proactive and collaborative in approach
• Strong IT skills, including process automation
• Experience in a PE Backed business a huge advantage
• Experience in a tech business would be ideal
