Job Description
Finance Manager Sheffield £50,000 plus benefits My client is a leading charity in Sheffield who is looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to lead and manage the finance team to work on an interim basis for a period of 12 months. As well as ensuring the smooth running of monthly finance routines, you will look at finance systems and processes ensuring things runs in the most efficient way. The position is full time, but applications are welcomed if you are looking to work four days a week. Key responsibilities include:
- Daily management of the finance team
- Prepare monthly management accounts and year end statutory accounts
- Ensure compliance with financial regulation and policies
- Review finance systems and processes
The Person
- Ideally, you will have a proven track record of managing a finance function in your career to date.
- It is likely you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CGMA , ACCA) or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience of working in the charity would be ideal but not essential
- You will have a good knowledge and experience of management accounting and financial reporting.
