Finance Manager Location: Cheshire (Hybrid) £55,000 - £60,000 + 10% bonus PE Backed Axon Moore have partnered with a PE backed business in Cheshire who are looking for a Finance Manager on a full time permanent basis. They have been a real market leader in their industry for 20+ years and after recently acquiring one of its competitors, are looking to continue that growth journey through organic growth and further acquisitions.Reporting to a high calibre FD, we're looking for a strong leader who can oversee a team of 3 direct reports. Responsibilities include:

• Manage a finance team of 3, providing mentoring and development to ensure high performance and growth.
• Own the budgeting cycle, produce regular forecasts, and act as a strategic business partner to Marketing, Sales & Operational teams
• Oversee multi-currency treasury activities and deliver both short- and long-term cashflow forecasts.
• Manage and drive month-end and year-end close processes, delivering management accounts, statutory accounts, and board reporting.
• Produce financial and operational forecasts to support planning, decision-making, and performance monitoring
• Provide meaningful financial insight through analysis, dashboards, and performance reporting.
• Maintain strong financial controls, enhance processes and documentation, and review balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Oversee inventory accounting and stock takes to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Ideal candidate:

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified, QBE will be considered
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing direct reports
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders and communicating financial insights.
