Reed Accountancy are delighted to be partnered with an established and growing company based in Belfast in the appointment of an experienced Finance Manager to join their dynamic team!

This role is crucial for managing financial operations, ensuring optimal cash flow and liquidity, and contributing to strategic financial planning and growth.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Track day to day cash movements to ensure the business has sufficient funds for ongoing operations.
• Produce reliable forecasts covering expected incoming and outgoing cash.
• Create and update projections for fee related income to support longer term financial planning.
• Generate and send fee invoices accurately and on schedule.
• Review, reconcile, and follow up on outstanding invoices and work-in-progress items.
• Work directly with clients to encourage timely settlement of all billed work.
• Apply effective credit control practices to minimise overdue balances and improve collection performance.
• Manage client accounts professionally, maintaining strong relationships while ensuring outstanding debts are resolved promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role.
• Expertise in cash flow management, forecasting, and analysis.
• Strong understanding of invoicing principles and credit control practices.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
