Finance Manager

This is a remarkable role for a Finance Manager within a really lovely firm based near Bond Street. Seeking someone with strong budgeting, forecasting and project accounting experience.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum + benefits

Location: Central London (Bond Street), office based role

Job Description:

• Monthly processing of invoices in Accounts Payable System, securing approvals for payment
• General Ledger Accounting. Responsible for preparing journal entries and checking supporting entries, to carrying out well-defined steps in cost accounting analysis
• Monthly Review/Reconciliation of Ledger Accounts
• Prepare invoices for recharges, consulting services
• Performs general or cost accounting activities requiring some insight and depth of understanding
• Apply accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions;
• Prepare Annual UK Statutory Accounts, support audit of Annual Statutory Accounts, providing information and supporting documentation as required
• Assist with monthly reporting
• Prepare VAT returns
• Assist with preparing analysis for corporation tax returns
• Accounting System maintenance (knowledge of Xero Accounting software an advantage)

Personal Skills and Attributes:

• All round finance experience, happy to manage the finance function and report into the CFO
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Hard working, professional and a great team player
