Job Description

Searcys is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Finance Manager to join our team. As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our catering and client services, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial regulations. This role will be based in a B&I contract.

Working hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Managing all financial aspects of a contract
  2. Operating in-unit bookkeeping systems: processing and querying daily purchase invoices and credit notes, daily reconciliation of revenues and takings, balancing cash office, calculating stock transfers, waste reports, and closing weekly accounting periods
  3. Submitting weekly paperwork to central office
  4. Maintaining accrual-specific documents (free issue, beverages, agency, vending)
  5. Delivering client reporting suite on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis for the Cost Plus contract
  6. Reconciliation and reporting of client stock
  7. Preparing and analyzing client-specific reports
  8. Preparing and posting monthly accruals and journals
  9. Revising and submitting P&L statements
  10. Issuing monthly client invoices with backup documentation
  11. Providing quarterly client reports
  12. Budgeting and reconciliation of balance sheets for clients and Searcys
  13. Managing weekly payroll
  14. Experience in management accounting is preferred
  15. Ability to work with and analyze large data sets
  16. Experience in a multi-site retail food service or catering environment is essential
  17. A motivated, self-starting, and proactive approach to work
  18. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable interacting at all levels of the business
