Job Overview

Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a high growth, PE backed, software business that is looking for a high calibre Finance Director. The role will operate as a strategic partner to the senior management team while ensuring strong systems, controls, and processes support this rapidly growing business.

Responsibilities

The Finance Director will support the leadership team and take responsibility for the financial function. Additionally, the Finance Director will commercialise the business, create KPIs and strategic metrics, and improve full board reporting, partnering with and presenting to the private equity house. As the financial number one, you will be crucial in planning future growth and realising the company vision.

Qualifications

• A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA).
• Developed new systems and processes as a business has grown while maintaining day to day control.
• Capable communicator, able to present to investors and shareholders.
• Experience in privately equity backed businesses.
• Ability to mentor and motivate the finance team.

Other

Uniquely, the client would consider a candidate moving from a Financial Director, Head of Finance, or Financial Controller role in a smaller or larger business. This is a real opportunity for an ambitious candidate on an upward trajectory looking to step into the FD role in a PE backed software business.
