Finance Director

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance processes.
• Provide financial insight and leadership to support growth and sustainability.
• Lead the finance team, ensuring effective financial management and governance across the charity.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Maintain and enhance financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
• Provide clear financial guidance to senior leaders and trustees.
• Support long-term planning and strategic initiatives through financial insight and analysis.
• Be hands-on in day-to-day financial operations, with a proactive and practical approach.
• Demonstrate strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail.
• Utilise and optimise Microsoft Dynamics to improve reporting, efficiency, and financial accuracy.

About Our Client

Our client is a respected national charity with a complex financial operation and multiple funding streams.

The Successful Applicant

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Experiene in commercial finance and charity or not-for-profit finance.
• Microsoft Dynamics to improve reporting, efficiency, and financial accuracy.
• Proven track record in a Director of Finance or senior finance leadership role.
• Strong financial planning, analysis, and reporting skills.
• Excellent communicator, able to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

What's on Offer

• Salary up to £90,000 per annum, DoE.
• Hybrid working - 3 days per week on site.
