Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is seeking a Finance Business Unit Integrator to join the UK team by providing essential financial support. The role offers flexibility for virtual or hybrid working based on business needs, but regular onsite presence at the Gosport Office is required. Boeing UK collaborates closely with our customers to support multiple public sector organizations, including the UK government and MoD. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic team managing current and new contracts, with offices across the UK.
The individual will have opportunities to work on cross-functional teams for daily operations and special projects, engaging with Programme Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other UK&I Finance & Commercial teams such as Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis. Partnering with key contacts across the business to support Financial Operations will be crucial.

Responsibilities:
- Act as the BUI, providing management with financial support and information for informed decision-making.
- Collaborate effectively with the Financial Analysis team.
- Support full-cycle project accounting, from proposal development to contract closure.
- Perform Estimates At Complete (EAC) support in partnership with Business Partners and cross-functional teams, providing regular reports and presentations to senior leadership.
- Use Earned Value Management techniques to analyze monthly performance, identify cost variances, and support mitigation plans.
- Extract data and prepare performance reports, including variance analyses.
- Manage monthly and quarterly financial forecasts for designated areas and contracts.
- Assess Risks and Opportunities, aiding operational teams in mitigation efforts to enhance profitability.
- Calculate program performance metrics, including progress, performance, and remaining efforts, considering impacts on Orders, Revenue, Earnings, and Cash.
- Offer in-depth analysis and strategic recommendations to support business and finance team strategies.
- Promote consistency and standardization within the Financial Analysis team, ensuring compliance with Boeing standards.
- Develop performance metrics and management reports for program leadership.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience in operations-facing finance roles, acting as a Business Partner to operational managers and executives.
- Self-motivated with the ability to establish reporting processes.
- Experience with EVM, preferably using CSPR, COBRA, and Open Plan.
- Strong team contributor with business (financial) acumen.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proven ability to drive and deliver business results.
- Customer-focused approach.
- Proficient in IT tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Qualified Accountant.
- Experience with Financial Operations using CSPR and EVM tools; background in Accounting, Economics, Business, Finance, or Projects preferred.
