Working as part of a high-performing team, as a Finance Partner you'll provide expert financial advice and support to senior leaders across the organisation. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll take a lead role in the preparation of management information, financial analysis, and strategic planning - helping to ensure that budgets, forecasts, and business decisions are robust, well-informed, and aligned to organisational goals.
ResponsibilitiesThe key duties of this Finance Partner will be:
- Providing a comprehensive financial support service to senior managers, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Preparing financial reports for Directors and consolidating them into organisation-wide monitoring reports for leadership and board review.
- Advising on financial strategy, risk, and value-for-money principles to support effective decision-making.
- Leading, motivating and developing finance staff, supporting a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Deputising for the Finance Manager as required and representing Finance in key meetings and working groups.
- Driving improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting to enhance service quality and efficiency.

QualificationsThe successful candidate will be:
- A CCAB-qualified or part-qualified accountant (or equivalent).
- Experienced in management accounting, financial planning, and report preparation, ideally within a complex or public sector environment.
- Skilled at building relationships with non-financial managers and explaining complex financial information clearly.
- Confident using financial systems, spreadsheets, and analytical tools to interpret and present data effectively.
- A proactive and solutions-focused individual with strong time management, communication, and leadership skills.
This role offers hybrid working, with a base in West Yorkshire and flexibility to work from home up to three days per week.
