Hays are partnering with a growing and ambitious organisation based in Newquay to recruit a Finance Coordinator on an ongoing temporary basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a modern business during a busy period of growth, working within a supportive finance team where you'll play a key role in maintaining efficient financial operations and supporting ongoing business success.

Your new role

As a Finance Coordinator, you'll provide essential support across a broad range of finance activities while working closely with the Finance Manager and wider business.Responsibilities will include:

• Managing supplier relationships and resolving invoice queries
• Coordinating weekly and monthly payment runs
• Reconciling supplier statements and bank accounts
• Assisting with cashflow reporting and forecasting
• Supporting month-end activities, including journals and reconciliations
• Producing financial reports and analysis for management
• Monitoring outstanding payments and investigating discrepancies
• Supporting finance process improvements and controls
• Assisting with ad-hoc finance projects as required

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll have previous experience in a finance or accounts position and enjoy working within a fast-paced environment.
You'll ideally have:

• Experience within an Accounts Assistant, Finance Coordinator, Accounts Payable or Finance Assistant role
• Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A proactive approach and willingness to support the wider team
• The ability to manage competing priorities effectively
