Job Overview

The Finance AR & AP specialist will provide vital administrative support focussing on AR & AP. This role involves managing essential day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial data, and also supporting in financial activities around our warehouse activities as well as providing support in month end closing process and different projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable (AR) processes, including customer invoicing, payment monitoring, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
  • Handle accounts payable (AP) tasks such as invoice processing, verification, and timely payment to vendors.
  • Reconcile AR and AP balances, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Support warehouse-related financial activities, including goods receipt reconciliation, stock movement posting, and cost allocation.
  • Assist in the monthly closing process by preparing journals, reconciling accounts, and compiling required documentation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate entry of financial transactions into the accounting system.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Logistics, and Operations) to resolve invoice discrepancies or payment issues.
  • Maintain proper documentation and support for audits and internal controls.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc finance or system projects.
  • Provide administrative and financial support to the finance team and management as needed.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in AR/AP.
  • Experience in organisations that work with warehouse (FMCG, Goods Trading, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Professional in English language (written & verbal).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
