• Workplace: hybrid, from home and occasionally at the office in Utrecht
• For this position, speaking and writing Dutch and English is a requirement/Proficient use of the Dutch and English language is a must.

Since 2021, we have started at Capgemini Financial Services as a pension implementation organization for one of the largest pension funds in the Netherlands. We are expanding our current services focused on business, IT and digitalization with pension administration. We use an innovative and tailor-made IT platform in which process automation plays an important role. As a Financial Controller, you help build the set-up of our new pension implementation organization.

You ensure correct accounting and support the automation of all Financial processes:

We are looking for a Financial Controller for the Finance & Control department. Within the position, you are responsible, together with the team, for drawing up the annual accounts and the implementation of the planning & control cycle of various pension funds. You are widely deployable; from carrying out analyses, monitoring them to making improvement proposals and thinking about information management within the pension funds. You are critical and proactive. You provide monthly management information, reports and quarterly and annual figures. In this position you report directly to the Manager Operations.

What do you bring?

• Responsible for accounting and finance for pension fund reporting
• Drawing up DNB Monthly coverage ratio report
• Drawing up annual accounts RJ610 and DNB FTK Annual statements
• Experience with EXACT FINANCIALS (financial package) is a plus
• Managing actuarial staff, where knowledge of actuarial analysis is required
• Organizing the financial domain for pensions. Experience with pensions and/or pension systems is desirable. Organizing the financial domain: Having a feeling for how to deal with data from systems and how to record that in systems such as Exact.
• Seniority is important to be able to switch as a project manager and/or finance manager within the domains of Asset Management, Pension Management and IT
• Responsible for the coordination of communication (actuarial and financial) between pension office and external stakeholders (accountant, auditing and certifying actuary)
