Day rate: £450 p/d inside ir35 (via umbrella)

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join a leading global engineering and technology organisation in Derby.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing Civil finance function, supporting accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting and period-end activities. You'll work closely with finance teams and key stakeholders across the business, contributing to financial control, analysis and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly FX revaluation for the UK business.
• Produce FX reporting for external auditors, Group Finance and key stakeholders.
• Prepare period-end journals covering operating costs, recharges and central accruals.
• Conduct balance sheet reviews, analysing movements and presenting findings.
• Support the Finance Control Team with financial queries and requests.
• Contribute to finance projects, investigations and process improvement initiatives.
• Deliver accurate, high-quality analysis within challenging deadlines.

About You

You'll be a qualified finance professional with:

• CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification.
• At least 3 years' finance experience.
• Practical experience in FX reporting and revaluation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with SAP and HFM.
