Your new role
This is a newly created Finance Administrator job working within a wider team of 6 people. The job is varied and fast-paced; duties include but not limited to:
- Assist Purchase Ledger - downloading supplier invoices and requesting approvals
- Collaborating with invoice approvers with any queries and unapproved invoices
- Liaising with procurement and other areas of the business to deal with queries and discrepancies
- Verifying and setting up new suppliers and subcontractors
- Provide departments with information on costs when necessary
- Analysis of certain expenditures, for example fleet/vehicles
- Credit card checking, processing and analysis.
- Supporting with employee's expenses ensuring adhering to company policy
- Assisting with Office of National Statistics surveys
- Running weekly reports and customer statements
- Ad hoc projects for the Finance Director
- Answering internal and external queries
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this job you will require:
- Monday to Friday 8.30-5 or 9-5.30 (40-hour week)
- Option of hybrid working (on completion of probation)
- On-site parking
