About the role:This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining parcel locker machines. Responsibilities include software configuration, quality control, providing technical support and training to employees and subcontractors, developing new solutions, and maintaining technical documentation.
What you'll be doing:- Diagnosing and repairing faults of parcel locker machines (APMs) to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Maintaining and modernising parcel locker machines, including hardware and software upgrades.
- Diagnosing, reconfiguring, and installing software or firmware for electronic and electromechanical equipment, ensuring security and compatibility.
- Reporting on repairs using organisational communication channels.
- Managing tools and components for parcel locker machines.
- Handling systems related to personnel management.
- Ensuring quality control of work performed by internal teams and subcontractors, adhering to standards and contractual obligations.
- Providing technical and substantive support via communication and IT channels, including to international teams.
- Participating in developing solutions for new parcel locker models.
- Preparing and updating technical manuals and documentation.

- Experience in a technical or engineering role.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electromechanical equipment, with software and firmware experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of providing technical training.
- Efficient task management, quality focus, and deadline adherence across multiple markets.
- High accuracy in quality control and documentation.
- Experience working with diverse, including international, teams.
- Flexibility to travel within the UK and internationally for service and training.
- Familiarity with parcel locker systems, electromechanical devices, and IT tools.
- Effective time management and responsibility handling with tools and components.
This position requires occasional training and visits to our office in Hemel Hempstead and should be based near or within the Essex area to focus on this patch.
