Travel: 50-75% UK wide, occasional international travel (North West base desired).

The Role

• Service, maintain and repair advanced analytical instrumentation
• Install new systems and deliver customer training on how to upkeep maintenance tasks
• Be on hand for customers face to face, phone or email
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and analytical faults
• Provide remote and on-site technical support
• Prepare paperwork and documentation following the installation of instrumentation
• Manage your own travel schedule and service planning

The Person

• Educated to degree level in Chemistry (or closely related discipline)
• Strong practical lab skills
• Understanding of electrical/electronic principles
• Confident reading schematics and technical manuals
• Excellent communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Happy to travel 50-75% UK wide and occasional international travel
