The UK & Ireland is Deliveroo's most mature market globally. Functions include commercial, operations, and marketing, with teams in the UK&I partnering with global departments such as Product, Technology, Consumer, and Restaurants.

The UK&I Regional team drives Deliveroo's performance across all five nations, overseeing restaurants, consumers, and riders in local markets from Brighton to Bangor, Bolton to Belfast.

As part of the UK&I Regional UKI team, you will sign up the best restaurants in your city/region. This presents a significant growth opportunity for Deliveroo, and we are building a diverse team of talented, experienced individuals to realize this potential.

The Role

We are seeking a Field Sales Executive for our North East & Yorkshire team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the success of local cities by building relationships with new restaurant partners, enhancing our customer proposition, and coaching team members. It is ideal for someone who enjoys building rapport, delivering results, and working independently. You will report to the City Manager, based in Leeds, but will spend most of your time in the field.

What you'll do:
  1. Map, prospect, pitch, and close new partners by engaging directly with local restaurants and stores.
  2. Communicate through visits, emails, calls, and social media to demonstrate Deliveroo's technology and business opportunities.
  3. Establish yourself as a local industry expert, building trust and facilitating inbound deal flow.
  4. Manage the restaurant onboarding process to ensure efficiency and support continuous improvement.
  5. Log all activities in Salesforce with clear notes.

This role involves regular travel across towns and cities in Northern England, from Sheffield to Sunderland. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and a car, thrive with autonomy, and enjoy spending most of their week outside the office. Fully expensed overnight stays are provided to maximize efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Confident, charismatic individual with a strong sales ability.
  • Proven track record of achieving outstanding commercial results.
  • Strong commercial acumen, results-driven, and target-oriented.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and comfortable working autonomously in the field 4-5 days per week.
  • Preferably fluent in at least one additional language (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Thai, Arabic, Vietnamese, Malay, Japanese, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi).
