The TeamThe Regional UK and Ireland team drives Deliveroo's performance across all 4 nations of UKI. From Brighton, to Bognor to Belfast, we are experts in the local markets we serve. As part of the regional UKI team, you will sign up the best restaurants in your city/region. Regional UKI presents one of the biggest growth opportunities available to Deliveroo, and we are building a team of commercially experienced individuals to help us fulfill our potential. You will work within the South West & Wales region and report to the Regional Manager.
The roleThis is a great opportunity to become an important member of a growing business in a competitive market. You'll build relationships with new restaurant partners in your area, improving our proposition for customers and identifying ways to continue our fast growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships.
Please note: A valid driving license and a car are required for this role. Candidates should be comfortable traveling regularly to areas such as Bristol, Exeter, Cardiff, Swansea, Plymouth, and Cheltenham, sometimes requiring overnight stays. This is not a typical office job, and being out on the road most days is expected.
What you'll be doing- Mapping, prospecting, pitching, and closing new restaurants across your region in an organized manner, becoming a city-level expert.
- Communicating with restaurants via visits, emails, calls, and social media to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.
- Overseeing the restaurant onboarding process to ensure it is quick, efficient, and seamless.
- Ensuring restaurant success within the first eight weeks of signing.
- Sampling food from various high-quality establishments.
- Attending restaurant and food meet-ups.
- Number of restaurants signed each month.
- Performance of signed restaurants in the first 3 months.
- Comfort with targeting and approaching new businesses.
- Experience in negotiation, structuring win-win deals for restaurants and Deliveroo.
- Knowledge of food delivery economics for restaurants and Deliveroo.
- Excellent communication skills (face-to-face, phone, email).
- Ability to demonstrate product and industry knowledge.
- Ownership mindset and ability to meet demanding targets.
- Interest in food and restaurants.
- Tenacity and motivation to deliver results.
