Job Description

Our Client is seeking a competent Field Engineer with strong analytical skills and excellent customer service abilities. The role requires knowledge of data networking, including Switches and Routers. This would be an initial 6-month contract role.

The Engineer would be covering Central Belt Scotland.

• Travel to customer sites to install and commission new Routers.
• Set up bridge calls with the commissioning team for testing and validation.
• Remove old equipment after successful installation of new Routers.
• Provide excellent customer service to a variety of clients including doctors, chemists, dentists, schools, government buildings, hospitals, and emergency services.

• Competent analytical skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of data networking, including Switches and Routers.
• Experience with cabling, Routers, Switches, laptops, and rack and stack.
• Own car and mobile phone required.
