Responsibilities

As aField Care Supervisoryour key responsibilities will include:

  • Completing initial customer consultations, care assessments and regular reviews
  • Creating and updating person-centred care plans and risk assessments
  • Completing care assistant supervisions, spot checks and appraisals
  • Providing day-to-day support, guidance and reassurance to care assistants
  • Monitoring care quality and completing audits of care plans, medication records and care notes
  • Responding promptly to changes in customers' needs, concerns and safeguarding matters
  • Working closely with customers, families, healthcare professionals and the office team to ensure care is delivered safely and effectively
  • £12.71 per hour during probation, increasing to £13.00 per hour following successful completion of probation
  • Equivalent to £26,436.80 per annum during probation, increasing to £27,040 per annum, based on 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5.00pm, with a 30-minute unpaid break
  • Additional payment for participating in the on-call rota

Requirements
  • Previous experience working within domiciliary care
  • Previous experience in a senior care, supervisory or field-based role
  • Experience completing customer assessments, care plans and risk assessments
  • Strong communication, organisational and time-management skills
  • A good understanding of CQC standards, safeguarding and quality compliance
  • Confidence using electronic care systems, ideally PASS
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work
