Fertility Consultant/ Fertility Specialist - Specialising in IVF and Reproductive Medicine - Private Fertility Clinic - Berkshire Area - Up to £140,000 (Depending on Experience) - Full Time
The Role:We are working with a busy and well respected fertility clinic in Berkshire who are looking for an enthusiastic Fertility Specialist or Consultant to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the largest provider of IVF in the UK. Whether you already have experience in assisted conception or are looking to develop your skills in this area, we would love to hear from you.
You will work alongside a talented team of doctors, delivering the highest standard of clinical and patient care in line with the HF&E Act 2008 and the current HFEA Code of Practice. Full GMC registration is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Egg collections
- Embryo transfer lists
- Conducting Consultations
- HyCoSy & Saline procedures
- Work closely with medical, nursing and other colleagues to offer the highest level of patient care
- SSR procedures desirable but not essential
The above will be reviewed as required, in consultation with the post holder. It is offered as a guide to the key responsibilities and duties, but does not preclude other projects that may arise as the organisation evolves.

Job requirements- Full GMC Registration and inclusion on the Specialist Register
- High Diploma (Fellowship or Membership) of Speciality College MRCOG or equivalent
- Experience in Gynecology or Fertility
- Effective communication skills regarding medical topics with both patients and colleagues
- Patient focused attitude
- Minimum of 2 - 5 years clinical experience working as a Consultant, Fellow or Doctor
- An understanding of the biology and scientific evidence underpinning clinical practice
- Strong knowledge of the HFEA Code of Conduct
- An understanding of the work of related disciplines
- An appropriate level of supervision and management skills
- An understanding of prevailing legislation
- An understanding of, and ability to apply, quality assurance and monitoring of clinical performance
