Do you have the passion and resilience to support young people and families facing challenges? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our team in Moray as a Family Support Field Worker!

Your new opportunity

Our Arrows service is currently recruiting for a Family Support Field Worker to deliver tailored, trauma-informed support for young people, young adults, and their families where substance use, or other vulnerabilities are present.

This new role bridges the gap between children's and adult services, working closely with partners such as CAMHS, Youth Justice, Social Work, and Police Scotland. You'll provide early intervention, build protective factors, reduce harm, and help improve long-term outcomes across the whole family unit.

You'll be part of a dynamic team committed to making a real difference in the lives of those facing some of the most complex challenges in the community.

This is a part time fixed term role working 20 hours per week. This fixed term contract is currently for a duration of 18 months.

Driving license and access to your own transport is essential for this role.

What you will need to bring to the role

  • A compassionate and proactive approach to working with vulnerable young people and families.
  • Understanding of trauma-informed and harm reduction practices.
  • Experience of working within multi-agency settings.
  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with young people and their families.
  • Confidence to deliver outreach support and engage people who may be hard to reach.
  • Enthusiasm for community-based working and empowering others.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
