Family Solicitor / Legal Executive

Location: BradfordWorking Pattern: Full-time, Monday to FridaySalary: Competitive, depending on experienceHybrid Working Available

The Opportunity

We are working with a specialist and well-established law firm looking to appoint an experienced Family Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a family lawyer with at least 2 years' experience who is confident managing their own caseload and wants to work within a supportive environment with genuine opportunities for progression and business development.

The Role

You will handle a varied caseload covering both private and publicly funded family work, including:

  • Private children matters.
  • Domestic abuse cases, including Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders.
  • Divorce and financial remedy proceedings.
  • Cohabitation and disputes between unmarried couples.
  • General family and childcare matters.
  • Legal aid work and privately funded cases.

The successful candidate will be expected to manage matters with a good level of autonomy while working collaboratively with the wider team.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a minimum of 2 years' relevant family law experience.
  • Has experience handling their own caseload.
  • Understands the requirements of legal aid work.
  • Is confident dealing with clients and complex family matters.
  • Can work independently while contributing to a supportive team.
  • Is commercially aware and comfortable working towards billing targets.
  • Is keen to develop their own network and generate private client work.
  • Is willing to work towards relevant panel accreditation where required.
