About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Law Solicitor to join our client's dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will handle a broad range of family law matters, providing expert advice and representation to clients during challenging times.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise and represent clients on all aspects of family law, including:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial settlements
- Child arrangements and custody
- Domestic abuse cases
- Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
- Manage a varied caseload efficiently and effectively.
- Draft legal documents, agreements, and court applications.
- Conduct negotiations and attend court hearings where necessary.
- Maintain excellent client care and communication throughout the process.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate.
- Minimum 0-4 years' experience in family law.
- Strong knowledge of UK family law and related legislation.
- Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and drafting skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive cases with empathy and discretion.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with mediation or collaborative law.
- Membership of Resolution or similar professional body.
- Familiarity with legal aid processes.
