Family Solicitor - Legal Aid

FAMILY SOLICITOR - LEGAL AID, NQ - 3 YEARS' PQE, LONDON, UP TO £45,000. Join an established and highly regarded Family team with a consistent flow of publicly funded work. Responsibilities

• The appointed solicitor will manage a varied caseload of Legal Aid matters including care proceedings, Children Act matters, domestic violence and injunction work, emergency protection matters and applications under the Family Law Act.
• The role will involve liaising with CAFCASS, social services and expert witnesses, progressing matters from instruction through to conclusion under supervision.

Qualifications

• Applications are open to candidates who are Newly Qualified up to 3 years' PQE with experience in publicly funded family work and a good understanding of the Legal Aid framework.
• Advocacy experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
