Salary: £36,512.00 (£20.06 per hour).
Hours per week: 35 hours.
Reporting to: Chair of Trustees.
Location: Liverpool but with travel across the Liverpool City Region.

Faiths4Change is a dynamic environmental charity based in Liverpool and working with communities across the Liverpool City Region and Cheshire. Registered as a charity in 2010, they work in partnership to co-create practical projects that enable all to learn, share and shape meaningful local action to mitigate climate change. Together they deliver a range of quality, connected and inspiring land-based, creative skills, and faith projects.

Their work is rooted in the knowledge that the wellbeing of our planet and all beings are interdependent; beliefs, teachings and practices held in common by all world faith communities and people who don't have a religious faith. They are not a religious organisation.

The Director will be an inspiring, passionate and experienced individual who will lead Faiths4Change with creativity and kindness. They will provide strategic direction, lead a collaborative and highly regarded team, work closely with their board of Trustees, build partnerships and networks at a local and regional level, and ensure the ongoing financial and environmental sustainability of the organisation. The Director will oversee projects and contracts, whilst working to generate new ideas and income.

The Director role is a multifaceted one requiring excellent communication, knowledge, skills and active community engagement working directly with people. Occasional weekend and evening work is essential to the post.
