Factory Operative

A permanent Factory Operative position is available in Redditch, offering a four-day working week from 0600 to 1600, Monday to Thursday. The salary ranges from £27,664 to £29,640 annually, with overtime paid at a premium rate.

Working within the engineering division, you will produce high-precision components for aerospace, automotive, and defence clients. Duties include grinding, polishing, and finishing parts to detailed specifications. Requirement for an experienced Manufacturing Operative to join a successful, Redditch-based Manufacturer. The position will require the successful candidate to be an integral part of the engineering division with the responsibility of producing high-precision parts for large aerospace customers across the UK.

• Producing components for various industries including aerospace, automotive and defence
• Working to instructions and specifications within a busy manufacturing environment
• Griding/Polishing/Linishing materials
• Power Press operating
• Loading, unloading & monitoring Furnaces

The successful applicant will have experience within a manufacturing environment, be physically capable of performing manual handling tasks and possess manual skills (Grinding/Linishing/Polishing material etc.)
