Job Description

Facilities ManagerLondon£60,000 + benefits - Hybrid WorkingUniversityPrime 2-Bed Apartment Available Depending on Experience and CircumstancesFacilities Manager for a London University is required to take full operational responsibility for a busy, service-led estate within this prestigious creative organisation. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing day-to-day estates delivery and team performance in a visible, public-facing environment.

You will lead:

  • Facilities Assistant
  • Small Technical Support team
  • Maintenance team
  • Front of House team
  • Total in-house team of 13
  • Outsourced Catering contract

The role requires strong people management, and therefore a background which involves managing teams is important. You must comfortable holding teams meetings, motivational, and keen to bring out the best through practical, hands-on leadership.

Scope includes:

  • Operational estates management
  • Oversight of soft and hard services
  • Contract and supplier management
  • Budget control
  • Compliance and health & safety coordination
  • Project and service improvement oversight

Core hours broadly 9-5 with flexibility. Some out-of-hours oversight may be required (paid for).

This is a high-impact role where leadership presence and operational control matter.
