Job Description

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. The Contract Manager is responsible for the delivery of Soft & Hard Facilities Management Services to site to meet Service Level agreements requirements and achieve Key Performance Indicators.

Role Summary:
  • Responsible for the Health and Safety of all CBRE staff members on-site.
  • Work in conjunction with the Contract Support to ensure that the service levels are maintained to a consistently high level.
  • Provide leadership, and ensuring the planned development of the contract, to ensure that contractual commitments are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure client satisfaction levels are maintained at a high level.
  • Meet with clients to establish steady lines of communication and attend monthly client meetings where required.
  • Ensure the contract meets healthy and safety working conditions.
  • Ensuring business policies and processes are effectively communicated and implemented within the contract.
  • Sub-contractor management, ensuring Best Practise, development of strategic supplier relationships and proactive delivery. Ensure all contractors, under sphere of control, operate within appropriate H&S processes and client HSE standards.
  • Manage and update E-Logs books.
  • Manage and update CAFM system, including issuing and closing of PPM's.
  • Generating Web Quotes for additional works.
  • Assist in the organisation of client events on site to ensure the smooth execution.
  • Manage holiday/absence cover for Office Concierge Front Desk/Reception Services & Post Room delivery ensuring all clients and visitors and employees receive a warm welcome and seamless service.
  • Responsible for QHSE and Permit/ATW issue. Report all accidents, occupational illnesses, and emergencies in relevant books / documentation.
  • Management of Cleaning Team. Ensure that cleaning is optimised to ensure all areas are cleaned to an agreed standard at an agreed frequency and that all front of house areas are always maintained to a high standard.
  • Liaise with Landlord Facilities team
  • Complete daily site inspections, report and manage findings.
  • Conduct contractor & employee new hire Site Inductions.
  • Generate Monthly reports and Contract Reviews.
  • Raise Purchase Order requests.
  • Monthly Financial reporting.
  • Management of small additional works.
  • Manage stationary order.
  • Deliver toolbox talks to the site team.
  • Other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.
  • Carry out site inductions as required.
  • Maintain regular contact with the Client around activities at site.
  • Take ownership and understand customer requirements and be able to demonstrate the ability to close out concerns, ensuring customer is kept appraised at all times.
Experience Required:
  • Knowledge and awareness of the facilities management industry.
  • Practical experience in working with supply partners to deliver a seamless, integrated service.
  • Customer services experience.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Desirable - Previous experience of a service industry role.
  • Desirable - Previous experience of CAFM systems.
Personal Qualities:
  • Educated to Degree or HND standard is ideally required.
  • Highly computer literate - Formal training in the use of Excel, Word and presentation software package.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful with good administrative skills & planning skills.
  • Effective communication skills enabling the individual to work with clients, suppliers, and staff at all levels.
  • Calm manner, able to work under pressure and with changing demands and priorities.
  • Results/task orientated, with attention to detail and accuracy.
