Job Description
Facilities Auditor and Administration Support FGH East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust

To work as part of a team carrying out comprehensive waste

audits.

Tobe responsible forthe reporting on the data to the WasteManager, serviceusers and colleagues both within the Facilities Team and across the organisation.

Providing administration support to the Waste Manager

This role will be 37.5 hours over 5 days.

To undertake waste audits across all areas at theWestmorlandGeneral Hospital in line with the National Heath Technical Memorandum 07-01 Safe and Sustainable Management of Healthcare Waste

To collect the data from the waste audits and upload into Microsoft excel spreadsheets.

To prepare audit reports, discuss findings including feedback of any issues or concernsidentifiedin the audit with the management team for that area.

All three main hospitals provide a range of planned care including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day case and inpatient surgery. In addition, a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from community facilities across Morecambe Bay.
