Facilities and HSE Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an EH&S management system, including risk assessments, safety tours, hazard identification, accident/near miss/incident investigation and reporting.
• Identify metrics for assigned facilities and report monthly EH&S KPIs, benchmarking against industry norms.
• Advise on maintenance and improvement of safe systems of work and influence site leadership to achieve business certification aspirations such as ISO14001 and ISO45001.
• Manage EH&S training programs and monitor progress against business safety strategy objectives and targets.
• Engage and motivate site leadership and employees through EH&S events, communications, safety walls, town hall meetings, safety notices and toolbox talks.
• Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, liaise with authorities and provide expert advice to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related field.
• Experience in risk and hazard identification, analysis, audits, safety inspections and accident investigation.
• People leadership experience.
• Preferred experience implementing ISO14001 and ISO45001 certifications.

Security Clearance

This role requires SC clearance. The successful applicant must undergo, achieve and maintain SC clearance. Baseline Personnel Security Standard Check (BPSS) is a minimum requirement; further national security vetting checks may apply.
