Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised workshop
  • Working with Rockwool and other insulation materials
  • Taking a flexible approach and being willing to undertake tasks outside of typical Fabricator/Welder duties
  • Successfully passing a down-hand and fillet weld test using MIG

About You
The successful candidate is likely to have:

  • Proven experience in welding, fabrication, and sheet metal work
  • Experience with MIG/TIG welding and general metal fabrication
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A flexible and positive approach to supporting wider workshop requirements
  • The ability to meet the required welding standard through a down-hand and fillet weld test using MIG

What's on Offer

  • Competitive and negotiable salary
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Workplace pension
  • Life assurance / death in service benefit
  • Overtime available at time and a half during busier periods
  • Free on-site parking
