39-hour week Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Paid Weekly

Overtime Available at 1.5x Rate

A well-established Aberdeen-based steel fabrication business is looking to recruit 2-3 experienced Fabricators to join its busy workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of structural steel, offshore-related and bespoke fabrication projects within a company that has a strong reputation for quality and delivery.

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you'll play a key role in the manufacture and assembly of a wide range of fabricated steel components and structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Mark out, cut, prepare and assemble steel components.
• Fabricate structural steelwork, platforms, walkways, stairways and handrails.
• Carry out fit-up activities prior to welding.
• Ensure all fabrication work is completed to the required quality standards.
• Operate fabrication machinery and workshop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work closely with welders and workshop personnel to achieve production targets.
• Maintain a safe and organised working environment.

Requirements

• Time-served Fabricator or significant fabrication experience.
• Strong background in structural steel and heavy fabrication.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience working within quality-controlled fabrication environments.
• DNV-certified experience is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
