Fabric Engineer

I am currently recruiting for a Fabric/Maintenance Technician for a temporary to permanent/ongoing temporary contract starting ASAP in London Bridge.

Candidate Criteria:

1. Minimum of 2 years' fabric maintenance experience in a commercial environment.
2. Background in general trades such as painting, carpentry, or plastering.
3. Ability to provide at least 2 references from work completed within the past 5 years.
4. Own safety boots and basic hand tools.

My client is one of the largest facilities providers in the UK, and the successful fabric engineer will be based at a commercial building in Elephant & Castle.

Working Details:

Shift hours are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday. The starting hourly rate is £18-20 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• General maintenance tasks
• Changing lights
• Basic plumbing and flushing
• Making good repairs
• Changing door locks
• Painting
• Assisting M&E engineers
