Job Description

Axcis Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in a local school supporting children in EYFS. This full time role starts in September and runs through the academic year, based in Bromsgrove. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm, with pay rate £14.25 per hour.

About the role
  • Support children in EYFS who are four years old
  • Work with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Provide personalised, one to one support
  • Build positive, meaningful relationships with students
  • Help create a calm and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements
  • A passion for supporting young people
  • Experience using verbal, visual and concrete resources to communicate
  • A caring, patient and empathetic approach
  • Strong ability to build positive relationships with pupils
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
  • Availability for full time work Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm
