Job Description
EYFS Teaching Assistant
Milk Education is supporting a warm, inclusive small setting in the L27 area. The provision supports EYFS and KS1 children with autism in small, structured classes, providing a calm and nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support small classes of EYFS/KS1 children with autism
- Assist the class teacher with learning activities, routines, and engagement
- Use a patient, nurturing approach to behaviour and communication
- Help create a calm, consistent environment tailored to individual needs
- Contribute to observations and progress updates
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive staff team
- Experience working with children (school or SEND experience desirable)
- A warm, caring and proactive attitude
- Confidence supporting children with autism
- Ability to follow structure, routines, and individual support plans
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
