About this job What skills and experience we're looking for The successful candidate must
  • have a minimum of 5 years' experience of teaching and/or leadership in EYFS settings;
  • have experience of curriculum design and delivery across subjects in EYFS and KS1
  • demonstrate an excellent understanding of the EYFS framework and how this can be delivered;
  • have a proven ability to lead school improvement and development, including monitoring achievement and supporting colleagues;
  • have a track record of excellence in their classroom practice;
  • lead a positive team of professionals to realise the potential of our setting and our children;
  • deliver a creative and exciting EYFS provision within their own classroom and across the setting, developing the children's love of learning;
  • have ambition, drive and a passion for learning;
  • promote and lead high expectations of learning, achievement and behaviour through positive classroom management;
  • demonstrate a commitment to raising standards;
  • demonstrate an excellent understanding of the National Curriculum;
  • demonstrate a strong commitment to parental and community involvement;
  • demonstrate evidence of relevant CPD;
  • have a good sense of humour and a hardworking ethos.
