Expert Space Systems Engineer

What's the Challenge?
As an Expert Space Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and optimization of satellite platforms, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams across all subsystems. You will define and manage system requirements, optimize technical budgets, analyze and validate spacecraft architectures, and support integration and testing activities. Working directly with the Project Office (PMO), you will ensure seamless execution of engineering tasks while driving innovation.
Your contributions will include:
- Developing and optimizing technical budgets.
- Defining and managing satellite system requirements.
- Assessing test approaches and methodologies.
- Conducting detailed analyses and simulations.
- Supporting low-level system integration and testing.
- Collaborating directly with the Project Office (PMO).
What We're Looking For
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in spacecraft systems engineering and subsystems integration.
- Strong knowledge of MBSE methodologies.
- Familiarity with mechanical, thermal, radiation, and propulsion systems.
- Experience with space-related analysis and design tools such as CATIA, NASTRAN/PATRAN, ESATAN, FASTRAD.
- Hands-on approach to cross-functional technical issues.
- Understanding of New Space trends and techniques.
- Expertise in low-level system integration and testing techniques.
- Strong experience in technical documentation and project reporting using ECSS methodologies.
- Ability to analyze and verify system configurations under operational constraints.
- Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic, high-priority environments.
Additional valued skills:
- Knowledge of Capella MBSE Tool or Valispace.
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
Educational Background:
- Preferred degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
Professional Experience:
- 10+ years in the aerospace industry.
Language Skills:
- English (minimum B2 level).
