Our client is looking for an experienced Osteopath to take over an established patient roster from an existing clinician within their highly regarded Camden practice.

This isn't a self-employed percentage-split position.

You'll be permanently employed with a guaranteed £37,500 salary, giving you the stability and benefits of PAYE employment while still having the opportunity to increase your earnings as your clinical billings grow.

Following successful probation, you'll earn 30% of your clinical billings or your guaranteed £37,500 salary, whichever is higher.

So you have the security of knowing what your minimum annual earnings will be, without putting a ceiling on what you can achieve.

All About You

Established post-qualification Osteopathy experience is essential for this position.

Because you'll be inheriting an existing patient roster, our client needs an Osteopath who already has strong clinical foundations and is confident independently managing patients within a private practice environment.

You'll need to be comfortable building rapport quickly with patients transitioning from another practitioner and delivering the high standard of care they are accustomed to.

Essential:

• Qualified Osteopath registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC)
• Established post-qualification Osteopathy experience
• Experience working within a private clinical environment
• Confidence independently assessing, treating and managing your own patient caseload
• Comfortable taking over and building relationships with an existing patient base
• Excellent patient communication and relationship-building skills
• Confident discussing treatment plans and ongoing care with patients
• Warm, professional and genuinely patient focused
• Motivated to develop a successful long-term career within private practice
• Comfortable working towards individual targets within a supportive team environment
• Open to mentoring, feedback and continued professional development

Desirable:

• Experience managing a busy established private patient caseload
• A strong understanding of patient retention, rebooking and referral development
• Insurance provider registration, although support can be provided where required
• Living within a realistic commute of Camden

What Will You Be Doing?

You'll join an experienced multidisciplinary private practice and take responsibility for an existing Osteopathy patient roster.

Rather than spending your first few months trying to establish a diary from nothing, you'll be focusing on building relationships with patients already accustomed to receiving their care through the clinic.

You'll manage patients from assessment and treatment through to ongoing care, taking ownership of the clinical relationship and providing a consistently excellent patient experience.

There's also a strong focus on developing the wider skills required to build a successful career in private practice, including patient communication, retention, rebooking, referrals and continued caseload development.

This isn't about hard selling.

It's about becoming the kind of practitioner patients trust, recommend and choose to return to because they genuinely value the care they receive.

How Your Pay Works

You'll have a guaranteed minimum salary of £37,500 per annum.

Following successful completion of your probationary period, you'll earn 30% of your clinical billings or your guaranteed £37,500 salary, whichever is higher.

For example, if 30% of your clinical billings annualises to £45,000, your earnings would be £45,000.

If 30% of your billings annualises to £55,000, your earnings would be £55,000.

If your billings fall below the level required to exceed your guaranteed salary, you still receive your £37,500 guaranteed minimum.

There is no upper earnings ceiling, so as your caseload and clinical billings grow, your earning potential grows with them.

Earnings are calculated monthly on a year-to-date annualised basis, helping to smooth out natural fluctuations across the year, including periods such as annual leave.

In simple terms: £37,500 is your safety net, not your earnings ceiling.

Working Hours and Environment

This is a full-time, permanent employed position, requiring a five-day-per-week commitment.

You'll work from an established Camden clinic as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside experienced Osteopaths, Physiotherapists and Podiatrists.

The practice has been treating patients in North London for more than 25 years and has developed a loyal private patient following, hundreds of 5-star reviews and multiple industry awards.

You'll be joining a professional but close-knit environment where clinicians are expected to take ownership of their work while still benefiting from mentorship, collaboration and wider team support.
